Straddling the line between fall and winter, plenty and paucity, life and death, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. It is thought to have originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts. In the eighth century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor all saints and martyrs; the holiday, All Saints’ Day, incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows’ Eve and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a secular, community-based event characterized by child-friendly activities such as trick-or-treating. In a number of countries around the world, as the days grow shorter and the nights get colder, people continue to usher in the winter season with gatherings, costumes and sweet treats.

It was Halloween eve, everyone was getting ready for the big night. Jordi and Sanna had made their costumes from various old cloths. They were very impatient because Halloween was their favourite celebration, so in order to make fun they went at the old house of their neighbourhood which it was in a pretty good condition actually. They couldn't open the door it was too heavy for them so they entered through the window they searched the home as there were rumours that a ghost comes out of there at Halloween, so Jordi wanted to check everything about any signs of the ghost but nothing could be found. It was late in the night as Jordi didn't actually want to leave the place because he claimed that something made him stay there. Next day Jordi went alone without Sanna because he was obsessed with the house, he stayed there until eleven PM then the halloween "parade" started and everyone was out in the streets but there was nowhere Jordi, after some hours when everyone was back home Sanna was worried about Jordi so she went to check if everything is ok, he tried entering the front door of the house but this time it opened without any effort, she was a bit creeped out and sneaked to get there, after some minutes of searching she didn't find Jordi so she panicked and start screaming his name, well after a lot of time she saw a little trap door which it was going somewhere, the trapdoor was actually going very deep, she climbed it down and she found some dead bodies, she starting screaming Jordi's name again and again but with no answer. She tried to walk through the dead bodies to find, everything was dark so she turned her phone's flashlight and then she saw Jordi with some of his friends ready to die from laughing and she was very shocked while they tried to climb up the stairs a man without face came from nowhere with a gun and killed them all. Sanna managed to survive the bullet and she is here talking about this story and claiming that the man wasn't a man but a ghost called Nightmare…………….
Spooky Story
Two years ago when I was ten years old, I went with my friends for walk in the forest,which is near to my home.In this forest, there are a lot of trees.
Deep in the forest,there is an old house . All the people in my neighborhood, they believe , that in this place lived an old lady , who was ugly and bad.Nobody goes in this house ,because they believe that it's haunked .We decided go in to the house .In the beginning,it was fun.We laughed and we spook loudly . Suddenly, the dor closed and we heard an awful noise like a laugh. We were afraid so much that we went out of the house immediatly.
In the end ,we understood that it was really spooky!!! brrrr….

The strange old woman
It was a typical day of Halloween, and as the custom demands the kids had disguised for the celebration of it. Jim and Peter were two brothers and they had prepared the customes 2 weeks ago. They were excited as the had the most frightening customes of all. The night was fascinating, they had gathered many candies and they were ready to return to their home. Everything was normal until Peter saw a tremendous house, and conviced his brother to go on it to take some more sweeties of their owners of this house. Jim didn't agree with this idea, but he thought that this celebration is only once a year and this house was the last station before the end of it.Simultaneously , both of them knocked the door but noone opened.They were ready to leave,when suddenly an old woman welcome the kids,and invited them into the house.This woman was strange, and they were rumors that she was a witch, but none of them taked this into consideration. They accepted the invitation and the old woman leaded them to the kitchen.While they were eating,the voice of the woman changed. It was hearing as a voice of man. Suddenly she locked the door and with her devil smile begun to tell a story to the children. She told that before 5 years the same day,his husband was walking to the street when some children horrified him. He passed away from heart attack. After this event, she promised that every child who knocked the door for the Halloween, she would kill it. And then, they strangled them. She burried them to the basement with other 10 children

Once,there was a girl named Anna.She was a 10 year old, extremely kind girl with blond hair and blue eye.For Anna the most difficult thing was to make friends so she was also a lonely child.
One day, Anna was walking done the street with her mother and she saw a doll one the shop window of a local store.The doll had long shinny blond hair and two blue eyes, like Anna had.As it was really hard to make friends she thought that if she took the doll she would have someone to play with.Finnaly Anna managed to make her mother buy the doll and take her together at home.She was so excited about the doll that she was playing only with her on her freetime.The years passed and Anna had grone up.But things had changed .Anna had managed to make many friends and and she didn't need the doll anymore.The doll had been damaged from the time that had passed and she had lost her beautiful blue eyes.
One night, Anna heard someone whispering in her ear while she was sleeping.The voice was from a girl and she was slightly saying "why you abandoned me?".Anna woke up with sweat in her forehead.She went to the bathroom to throw some water in her face.Suddenly, she heard something comming from her room.She went slowly to her bed to see what was going on.Then she saw the doll on the floor.She took he and placed her near her.When she went for sleep again she was sure that something wasn't going on well.She touched something under her pillow and she found a knife.Now she was in panic.She looked at her doll.The doll started talking and she said somithing in a really dip voice.SHe was saying"you took my eyes noe I have to take yours" and with a move she grapped the knife and cutted her eyes off.
The next day they found the dead body of Anna in her bed with her two eyes in her hands
