She lived deep in the forest in a tiny cottage and sold herbal remedies for a living. Folks living in the town nearby called her Bloody Mary, and said she was a witch. None dared cross the old crone for fear that their cows would go dry, their food-stores rot away before winter, their children take sick of fever, or any number of terrible things that an angry witch could do to her neighbors.Then the little girls in the village began to disappear, one by one. No one could find out where they had gone. Grief-stricken families searched the woods, the local buildings, and all the houses and barns, but there was no sign of the missing girls. A few brave souls even went to Bloody Mary's home in the woods to see if the witch had taken the girls, but she denied any knowledge of the disappearances. Still, it was noted that her haggard appearance had changed. She looked younger, more attractive. The neighbors were suspicious, but they could find no proof that the witch had taken their young ones.Then came the night when the daughter of the miller rose from her bed and walked outside, following an enchanted sound no one else could hear. The miller's wife had a toothache and was sitting up in the kitchen treating the tooth with an herbal remedy when her daughter left the house. She screamed for her husband and followed the girl out of the door. The miller came running in his nightshirt. Together, they tried to restrain the girl, but she kept breaking away from them and heading out of town.The desperate cries of the miller and his wife woke the neighbors. They came to assist the frantic couple. Suddenly, a sharp-eyed farmer gave a shout and pointed towards a strange light at the edge of the woods. A few townsmen followed him out into the field and saw Bloody Mary standing beside a large oak tree, holding a magic wand that was pointed towards the miller's house. She was glowing with an unearthly light as she set her evil spell upon the miller's daughter.The townsmen grabbed their guns and their pitchforks and ran toward the witch. When she heard the commotion, Bloody Mary broke off her spell and fled back into the woods. The far-sighted farmer had loaded his gun with silver bullets in case the witch ever came after his daughter. Now he took aim and shot at her. The bullet hit Bloody Mary in the hip and she fell to the ground. The angry townsmen leapt upon her and carried her back into the field, where they built a huge bonfire and burned her at the stake.As she burned, Bloody Mary screamed a curse at the villagers. If anyone mentioned her name aloud before a mirror, she would send her spirit to revenge herself upon them for her terrible death. When she was dead, the villagers went to the house in the wood and found the unmarked graves of the little girls the evil witch had murdered. She had used their blood to make her young again.From that day to this, anyone foolish enough to chant Bloody Mary's name three times before a darkened mirror will summon the vengeful spirit of the witch. It is said that she will tear their bodies to pieces and rip their souls from their mutilated bodies. The souls of these unfortunate ones will burn in torment as Bloody Mary once was burned, and they will be trapped forever in the mirror.
Spooky Ghost by George Bitros, Neon Aegina
She was about to lock the door and get ready for bed when she heard a noise from upstairs. It was a ghost that she saw through the glass from the stairs down to the kitchen. The little girl felt so scared that she phoned her parents for some help but nobody called her back. Once again, she could see the ghost through the glass on the floor and the little girl took a chair to protect herself and went upstairs to find out what was happening. The ghost through a pan down and the girl fell down the stairs from her fear. But the ghost was afraid, too. It ran away to let the girl alone.
The little girl was hurt a lot.When her parents came back, they called a ambulance to take her to the hospital. Do you believe she is okay now?

It was a wonderful day and the Summer's family were having their last breakfast at their old apartment. They had decided to move to a new house. It was big, with a lot of rooms, a huge garden and the house also had a boat house. The house was the one for them and it had been really cheap. They thought it was the perfect opportunity.
Simon, his wife Sam and their children started putting their stuff in the right places. Everything was going very well, the days were passing by and they were really enjoying their time there. But at 3:00 o'clock every morning, something strange happened. Simon kept hearing a voice telling him, "kill them!" and a few days later, he started seeing ghosts. Simon, day by day, was acting weird. Sam was suspicious about her husband's behaviour. She went to the church and asked to talk with a priest. She told him that at the house, something was going wrong. She asked him to carry out an exorcism at the house. He went to the house but although he tried, the priest couldn't defeat the ghosts.
One night later, Simon woke up loaded his shotgun and started to chase his family. They tried to escape, but he had locked all the doors and windows. They managed to get up-stairs, broke a window and tried to escape from the roof. But Simon went after them. Sam and the children managed to get down to the ground but Simon fell. Sam had to do something to protect her kids, but she didn't want to leave her husband there. So while he was on the ground, she took his gun and hit him over the head. She asked one of her children to bring a rope to tie him up. When she'd done that, she transferred him to their boat. Sam took her family away from that house and they never returned. They started a new life.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl whose name was Vasiliki. It was night on Halloween day. Her parents had gone out to buy something .
Vasiliki was watching TV when . . . her telephone rang. The girl answered the phone and someone was speaking . The girl was very scared about that. Then someone knocked on the window. It was the monster of her town that was calling "Scooby".
The girl was very scared. The monster had come into her house! Vasilki killed it but….
After 10 minutes, her parents came home and they shouted her name but she didn't answer. She was dead.
Her parents looked for her everywhere, but they didn't find her. They called the police but they couldn't find her. Then, nobody ever found the girl………..

A SPOOKY STORY
It was late as Alice looked the door and turn off the lamp. She had started to climb the stairs when she heard a strange noise from upstairs. She went to the bathroom to listen the noise but the noise stopped. Then the lights turned off. She bawled her parents and her brother but only her brother came. When the lights turned on they saw a vampire and they ran away. They understood what the vampire was their father. They were to Alice roo. They saw a Zombie under Alice's bed. They ran away. When they run saw a ghost. The lights turded off again but they found the door. Only Alice left from the house because her brother bited by the vampire. When Alice left from the house saw her mother head cut. She ran for days. She saw blood, cut heads, trolls and many another things. She found a city and some people went her to the hospital. She was bleed. Couldn't live. No one in this area live now!

Just a nightmare? by Philippa
It was a normal Halloween night in my apartment in central London. I had just had a shower and wore my PJs. I was surfing on the internet when my phone rang. I picked it up. It was Sophia, my best friend. Today was her birthday and I had forgotten her birthday party that was supposed to start in an hour. She knew me so well that she had thought that I would probably have forgotten about it and she’d called to remind me. I was too lazy to get up from the screen and my cozy blanket, but I had to because she would get mad at me otherwise. I got up, dressed myself appropriately, put some make up on and left my house.
Her house was not far from mine. I called Alice, my neighbour and my second best friend to accompany me until we reached Sophia’s house. I was waiting for her down the street and she appeared after 6 minutes. As we were walking, suddenly an enormous red brick wall appeared in front of us. We had no clue what it was and neither of us had ever seen that wall before. We walked past it and we found a wooden door in it. We were curious as to what this door was and if it was our “escape” from this wall, so we opened it. Everything was so strange in an awkwardly strange way. It seemed that we were in another era in London, perhaps the 19th century. We looked at each other and we froze. We were wearing different clothes, similar to old movie dresses! We‘d hardly had time to speak to each other when a carriage stopped in front of us. The door opened. There was a man in it, quite charming, with old-fashioned clothes, too. He offered us a ride. I didn’t accept it but Alice did. I was not sure of his intentions and he seemed more like a freak to me. However, Alice got in the carriage and left with him while I was trying to find out what kind of game someone was playing with us.
It was only 15 minutes later when the carriage stopped in front of me again. The door opened, the man was inside, but Alice was nowhere to be seen. I asked him where Alice had gone and he smiled at me in a seemingly creepy way, pulled his cape back and there was Alice or rather, Alice’s dead body. Her guts and blood were decorating the carriage. I panicked, I vomited and then I started to run like Road Runner from Looney tunes. The carriage followed me at the same speed. Now, I was sure that my life was in danger. I had run for half an hour when I found Small Street on my left hand side. I turned left into that street so as to be able to hide from this maniac killer. For a moment, I thought I was safe and that he had lost my trail but then I heard the hooves of the horses, close to me. I tried to run further but unfortunately, the street was a dead end. He descended from the carriage, pulled a shiny knife from his pocket and approached me. I was shouting for help when he pushed the knife into my guts and ripped them out of my body.
I woke up sweaty the following day, thinking that it had just been a nightmare. I got up to call Sophia and Alice to tell them my dream and laugh all together, but as I was trying to get off my bed, a severe pain in my stomach pulled me back. I lifted my t-shirt to see what it was and I saw an extremely big scar right in the place where this man from my dream had stabbed his knife into my guts. I was worried sick and tried to calm down. I gathered all my powers to get up from my bed in order to call Sophia. I knew it was her birthday today and because of Halloween too, she might was busy but I had to call her and tell her what had happened. The phone had rung twice before she picked it up. Her voice was slow and she was crying. I asked her what had happened. She told me that Alice had been killed by an unknown person at her apartment last night and they had found her dead body this morning. The most shocking thing was that her guts were all over the floor just like my dream. I started shaking and put down the phone. I knew that something evil was haunting us. I was about to go crazy when my phone rang. When I answered it, the only thing I could hear was someone breathing heavily . I asked repeatedly who it was but no one answered my question. Suddenly, a heavy voice started to speak. It said “I’m coming for you, too, tonight”. My legs gave way and I whispered again, asking voice who was there. And the voice replied, “I’m Jack, the last person you will ever see”. I realised that Halloween had brought his spirit back and my dream was a prophecy. Jack was back and ready to kill new victims. He was unstoppable.

Gloria and her friends Sarah and Megan enjoyed riding their horses through the woods next to the riding stable. Many of the old timers at the stable warned them not to pass Black Woods at night on horseback. The haunted woods often spooked the horses – as well as the riders.One particularly beautiful night close to Halloween, the girls rode out further than they intended. The crisp leaves crunched under the horses' hooves, and the girls spent more time than usual exploring an unused trail.The sunset faded, and the girls suddenly realized they would have to pass by Black Woods in pitch darkness. The horses knew the path and picked their way carefully through the woodland trail. As they came to the fork in the trail that led left past Black Woods toward the stables or right towards the road, all three horses balked and refused to turn left.
Gloria said, "Let's dismount and walk them the last little bit. We're almost home."
"Gloria persisted. "We're going to get in trouble if we walk the horses on the road at night. It's too dangerous. Besides, we're almost back. We just have to get through Black Woods."
Sarah and Meg had already turned their horses and headed towards the road. "Fine," Gloria fumed. "I'll go straight."
you go," Sarah said. She shivered. "I want to ride towards the road and walk on the road back to the stable."
She urged her horse forward. As they rounded the last turn into Black Woods, an eerie glow suddenly lit the path in front of her. Gloria urged her trembling horse forward. As she turned the last corner through Black Woods towards the riding stable, the glow became stronger and centered on a huge, lightning-struck oak tree. On the trunk of the tree a woman's face appeared. She glowed with a white light as her lips moved.
"Tell them…," she whispered. "Tell them I'm innocent."
Gloria kicked her horse, but the horse needed no urging. He flew through the woods and stopped at the stable door trembling in fear.
The next day, one of the stable owners, Tommy, stopped by while Gloria groomed her horse. Tommy had heard that Gloria had ridden alone through Black Woods after dark, and so close to Halloween. As she curried her horse, Gloria worked up her courage and asked, "Tommy, why do people say we shouldn't go into Black Woods at night?"
"Because of the Hanging Tree," Tommy said.
"The big oak." It was a statement from Gloria, not a question.
"The apparition's words echoed in Gloria's mind. "Tell them I'm innocent." She shivered he very one," said Tommy.
She never rode anywhere near Black Woods or the old Hanging Tree ever again.
